Awhile back we posted the first track from Squarepusher's new project Shobaleader One and now Warp Records has posted up a new track from the full length in the form of a music video - "Megazine".  Along with the vid is a little interview with Mr. Jenkinson about his new "band", you can check that out here.

Unless you've been under a rock for the past decade, you'll probably notice that this video has Daft Punk ripoff written all over it, in regards to visual style and concept, but the music itself isn't quite in the realm of the French duo, though there are certainly some comparisons to be made there as well.

Personally, I'm not quite sold on this project yet and to me the whole "mysterious band" aspect sounds a bit like...how do the brits say it...bollocks?  Yes.  Bollocks.  Aside from the bass and vox, I'm not hearing anything that sounds like a live band in either of the tracks I've heard thus far.
