Today we feature a great little EP from Québec City's Arbee called "La Permanence de L'Objet". This is a deep, mellow selection of tracks with a heavily ambient feel, subtle yet complex beat work and a real sense of atmosphere. Most of the 6 tracks clock in at under 3 minutes a piece which leaves me wanting a bit more, but I expect we'll be hearing from this artist in the future, so I suppose that's a good thing. Arbee is currently at work on an ambient/soundscape project due out before the end of the year, which should be right up my alley judging from the ambient bits from this release.
