Sunday by AmantSymphonic

The Maryland-based husband and wife duo Amant Symphonic have yet to release their debut album upon the world, but fans of Ochre, Ulrich Schnauss and Múm might be interested in checking out some of the one-off tracks they've released over the last few years, like "Sunday" (posted above).  Their sound is characterized by soft, delicate ambiance layered under downtempo IDM beats and icy cold melodies.

Here in San Francisco where the summer has been held off by layer upon layer of fog, mist and wind tinged every so often by a singular beam of diffused sunlight breaking through the clouds, these tracks capture the atmosphere of the season perfectly.
